Who are we?

Jared Nissim, Director
Jared has been organizing social events and activities since he founded The Lunch Club in 2001 and then Meet The Neighbors in 2004. His endeavors have been featured in many major media outlets, such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Post, Newsweek Magazine, Time Magazine and NBC News.

In his 8th year of operations, Jared has developed a keen talent for organizing successful events that foster strong connections between people. Secret City is his latest creation, taking the best team-building activities of his career and offering them to groups looking for fun, adventurous experiences.


Courtney Abrams, Research
Courtney joined the Secret City team in the summer of 2008 and is responsible for digging up fun facts about NYC history and important locations that are part of our scavenger hunts. Courtney has a Masters in Research Analysis from NYU and is currently a doctoral candidate.


Sarah Klein, Event Facilitator
Sarah joined the Secret City team early in 2009 and helps run our scavenger hunts. You might meet her at the beginning, or somewhere along the hunt at a station, or at the end, checking answers.
